Because Angela had a few good friends who had worked with Deanne (Ann and Cassie), she had a very basic understanding of what she might be getting into. Her auction lot included 10 weeks of 2-3x/week Boot Camps, Recipes and Body Comp testing. It wasn't until she got into it that she realized how "life changing" this new plan would become.

 A bit of background...
After each of her pregnancies, Angela was able to get her weight down by trying different "diets" and/or working out. About four years ago, however,  she went back to work and found little time for working out or healthy eating. (Until  January 2011 which brought on a significant change for her.)

How did she do it??
With the Forever Fit 4-2-1 eating plan and the 2-3 boot camps/week she was able to get the jump start she needed. Within the first week or so she immediately noticed having 2-3 times more energy than she had experienced before. She feels that it was due to the fact that she was eating whole foods, a lot more veggies, healthy carbs and very little sugar. She felt her meals were a lot more balanced and she loved learning about putting different healthy foods together.

What she likes most about the Forever Fit Lifestyle...
1. Not having to plan her workouts; knowing that Deanne will make sure she gets an all over killer workout!
2. The combination of good nutrition and exercise...D Y N A M I C combo!
3. Exercising outside rather than in a stuffy gym, amen!
4. Having others counting on you to show up and encouraging each other to work hard, uh huh!

Advice and Insights...
1. Keep it simple; don't complicate or over think it.
2. Angela kept rotating between 2 or 3 different dinners and lunches and snacks so that it was EASY.
3. Keep it in perspective...At a recent boot camp Angela found herself running around a course carrying an 8 pound medicine ball which was getting pretty heavy and then half way through the cones she thought to herself, "Hey, I just lost 2 of these!"

Thanks Angela for letting me interview you and for inspiring us all!!
P.S. She told me she has one more medicine ball to go...:)

Auto Pilot

It's time for me to take control, once again, of the runaway aircraft I will affectionately refer to as "Feed Me Air".  And if you must know how I came up with "Feed Me Air" it is possibly related to the fact that  as part of my new and improved flight plan, I am not fueling after 8pm so here I sit (in bed) because that is the furthest spot away from the kitchen and air is all I am getting tonight:)

I go through times where I let this aircraft go into autopilot...basically handing over the controls to either the "Emotional Eating" co-pilot, or to the "Taste buds Rule" co-pilot. Either way...it's a pretty fun ride (at first)..kind of bumpy oh! but the places we go!! Sometimes, I pay such little attention to the course my co-pilots are taking me that I am actually really surprised when I finally look up and  realize where we are headed!! It is at this point that I start to complain...like why so bumpy? Why is my [seat] belt so tight? whah! whah! whah! Sometimes I even ask other passengers or people in other planes for advice as to how I got where I am and where I am going...it's all a waste of time, really.

Until I finally get to the only question that matters...

"WHO IS FLYING THIS PLANE, ANYWAY?!"
See, the reality is..."Feed Me Air" is going to fly 24/7 no matter what. So...I get to choose whether  I take over the controls or I pass it off to anyone else, let it nose dive into a treacherous spiral  or set it on auto pilot for that matter... It's my choice.

I'm back folks...and I have my eye on the destination. It's gonna be good;)

Who doesn't like a good analogy...and throw in food/eating/weight...come on...you know you want to add to my thinking....give me your best shot...Deanne is traffic control?? Is that the best you've got??
