WEEK THREE

Nice work on week two folks!! I even spied someone who counted over 2000++ stairs, whew!

All of us look to Deanne for our fitness/nutritional challenges and this week she does not disappoint!! Squats and veggies in the same week..? Who says Deanne has no sense of humor. Ouch!

 This would be veggies for a day..my morning prep.

Please comment with a food diary of your 10 veggies in a day...I am still trying to figure out what that is going to look like in my day. And I am a veggie girl but holy produce. wow!

WEEK TWO

We are well into week 2 of the 2014 Spring Buddy Challenge. Have you been working hard with your buddy? Have you met your buddy? Are we off and running or just getting started?

Wherever you are..."step it up" a notch this week with our exercise challenge (see weekly challenge tab above). Also, be sure to fit in the "weekly nutrition challenge" every day.

Check out the "Buddy Challenge Standings" to see where you and your buddy compare to other Forever Fitters.

Remember...it is too early to give up...send me your points for last week if you missed sending them in.

Week 7 Recap



Hi everyone. Here is the weekly recap:
1.       There is a Saturday Workout, 8am at Tide Park in Solana Beach.  There are a few spots still open so grab one quickly if you want to join us.  Please see the “Parks Directions” Document for specific instructions on how to get to Tide Park.  We will meet at the top of the stairs to grab ViPR’s and then head down.  Please try to be there a little before 8 so you get a ViPR.
2.       Don’t forget to turn in your week 3 Olympic Scorecard by 10pm on Sunday. The medals are starting to really come in now.  Here are some of the fun raffle prizes: Polar Heart Rate Monitor, Fit Deck Workout Cards and corresponding equipment, The Nuttzo Trilogy (peanut, peanut free and chocolate), a coupon for a catered dessert from Something Homemade (great for entertaining), A Fitness Journal for Spring, and a Smoothie Kit with my favorite Superfoods, just to name a few.
3.       Our 10 Week Spring into Shape for Summer Bootcamp Session starts in just 4 weeks.  Recruit a friend new to Forever Fit and you can both workout on the unlimited plan for $250 each.
4.       Whether you recruit a new bootcamper or not, be thinking about who you want to partner up with for our Spring Buddy Challenge.  The winners of this challenge will receive a fun and stylish Summer Goodie Bag.
5.       Those of you working to earn a Forever Fit workout shirt have 3 more weeks to meet the personal goal that you set with me 3 weeks ago.  Don’t forget to use your Weekly Habit Report card to help you stay on track. I will be sending you a new one on Monday.

New Year Session Week 4 Recap

  1. We will be following the same Monday Mindset Meal Plan next week as we did in Week 1. For points on our Olympic Challenge, you can do this any day next week. We recommend Monday as a great way to kick off your week and get your head “in the game”.  We are repeating the meal plan to make it easier on you to collect medal points!
  2. There is a Saturday Workout. It will be a toning class with Sheila Peterson, 8am at Dog Beach. You can park right in front of the beach. Meters are not enforced until 9am. Please bring a towel.
  3.  Don’t forget to visit the tab on our blog "Featured Camper" before Monday to learn more about Margaret Boyes.  I have learned so much from these interviews.  I love them!   http://foreverfitsandiego.blogspot.com/p/qow.html
  4. Our Olympic Challenge begins on Monday, February 3.  Look for your first scorecard by 10am on Sunday morning.  This is an individual challenge. We will be doing another buddy challenge for our Spring Session.  We have some fun prizes at the end of the session so I hope you will use this challenge as a way to fine tune your healthy lifestyle. 
  5.  I have asked some of you to turn in a goal sheet if you would like to earn a Forever Fit shirt at the end of this session. Those are due by this Sunday.  Don’t forget. I would love each and every one of you to have a workout shirt! 
  6.  If you earned a shirt during our Holiday Challenge but have not gotten yours yet, please send me an email and let me know.
  7.  Thank you to everyone for making reservations for your classes. This is so incredibly helpful to me!

New Year Session Week 2 Recap

Another great week of weather and workouts. Here are some reminders as we head into week 3:
  • We have another ViPR workout at the beach tomorrow, July 18th.  Dog Beach. Make your reservations.
  • Our 50 Day Burpee and Get-Up Challenge Starts Monday.  We have 7 more shirts to give out.  The first seven people to email me will get to do the challenge
  • All body comp appointments are completed. Please refer to the Dietmaster link to see your results.
  • Our book club started this week. It's not too late to join in on this fascinating conversation.  The book for this session is Death By Food Pyramid by Denise Minger. Grab your copy this weekend.
  • Our Olympic Challenge will start in a little over a week. Complete your scorecards to receive medal points.  Every medal earned is a raffle ticket for our end of session prize drawings.
  • If you didn't meet your goal of weight maintenance during our Holiday Challenge, don't worry. You will get another chance to set goals this session and earn that shirt!
  • Yes, we will have bootcamp at 9:15 on Monday at Torrey Highlands Park. I know it's a holiday. Please feel free to bring your kids to play in the park while you workout.
