She is DOWN another POUND folks!!
Bringing our (well...her but we all benefit, yes?) total to SEVEN!!
Here is what she had to say...
Just 1 pound but I'll take it!  Even though I wasn't down last week, I definitely noticed my clothes fitting different.   I think that is a great gauge!  My clothes don't shrink sitting in my closet even though I swear they do!

I also am purposely not buying Halloween candy yet!  Of course, I need about 2 Costco size bags to give away to the tons of kids in my neighborhood.  I just can't bring myself to buy it!  My husband offered to take the candy to work and lock it in his desk until Halloween night.  That is a great plan!

Lisa Week 4


As you all remember...Lisa was down SIX POUNDS by week 3 and was 
able to maintain that loss for week 4. (Not easy to do...)
She has been working hard and is already looking forward to this Saturday's weigh in.
(wish I was as optimistic:) 
In Lisa's words:
So today was my first 6 am bootcamp!  I had to juggle my schedule this week since my son Jake is off tomorrow.  Once again - planning!  I decided last night to register for today so that way I would be sure to get up!  If the accountability is there - so am I!    It was hard getting up before the sun does but the feeling at 7 am of being done for the day is incredible!   I definitely am "shocking" my body almost every day.   I even managed to "shock" Deanne today by showing up at 6!

Weigh in is Saturday....fingers crossed!

Boast a Post

No Sabotaging/Permision Giving
...How do YOU do it?! Do share...

My first thought on this subject is all of the times that I actually did give in. See...I am a profesh at justification. If you ever need help in this area...I am here for you. Just today, however, (good thing since it is the last day of Sabotaging week) I was in a meeting with a group of women that I am with on a regular basis. There were cookies being passed along (which there are on a regular basis) and since so many times, I have refused the cookie container, the person passing them along offered and then took it back saying, "Oh, I know you don't want these." (of course I quickly withdrew my out stretched hand and swallowed the saliva that was pooling in anticipation.) And I thought, "Go me!!" (the past me. because the present me would have given in.) Our habits can help us, sometimes.

Lisa week 3

Lisa is down yet another pound, folks!! 
(that makes 6 lbs down)
Yay! Hooray!! Made my day!!!

She sent in these comments with her early weigh in just before taking off on a family camping trip...

"After today's workout and my awesome new Heart Rate Monitor that told me I burned over 635 calories - I am SO excited!

Tonight I will be resting my tired muscles on an air mattress under the stars!  I am sure I will have NO problem falling asleep!
