On Your Mark...

This weekend I went to a 
XC (that'd be Cross Country) Meet
to watch my son, and others.
See their determination, anticipation??
See the guys standing around in the back who
aren't "in this race"??

Well...where are you?? Are you ready to go? 
Set for our Fall Fitness Challenge?
Set your goal? 
Going for a PR? (That'd be Personal Record)
Or are you still standing in the back, wandering....

  1. Thanks Kathleen. I'm usually in the back, not wandering per se but cheering all of you on. I'll be doing that again this session but this time I've got some goals I'd like to kick butt on too! And to ensure that I meet them, I am going to share them with the world. Ok maybe not the world, but at least with my family and my Forever Fit Family.
    1. I will lose 7 pounds in the next 10 weeks. I know what I am capable of and when I feel my best and I want to get back to that.
    2. I will take yoga one time every week for the next 10 weeks.
    3. I will not do any "unplanned eating" (this is my down fall)
    4. I will not start any week without a good nutrition and workout plan for myself
    5. I will not work between the hours of 3pm and 8pm so I can be present for my kids
    6. I will be able to do 5 unassisted pull-ups (oh this one is going to be hard for me)
    So there it is. I'm completely exposed. And you know what, it feels good. I know the more people I share my goals with, the more support I will get and the more likely I will be to hit them. Now let's hear from you!

      You are an inspiration!! But I did think you said ONE goal...maybe your #1 is your goal and the others will help you attain it. Oh..and #6 is a pretty serious goal itself. I will count while you do your unassisted p-ups:)

    2. You're right. I got carried away. I guess my main goals are 1 and 6. The others are the habits I will implement to help me achieve them.

  2. Since I basically took the summer off, I am super-motivated to get back into a Forever Fit Healthy Lifestyle!
    Here goes:

    * I will use the 4-2-1 plan for the next 10 weeks.
    * I will drink at least 10 glasses of water every day for the next 10 weeks
    * I will lose 7 pounds in the next 10 weeks.
    * I will attend at least one bootcamp class, take at least two 3.5 mile walk/runs with Sasha, and I will attend at least one yoga, pilates or barre class every week for the next 10 weeks.

    I will start this program next Monday, September 10th and will use the next four days to plan and prep.

  3. My goal is to get out of this boot! Ha! Seriously, something like an injury can derail our fitness and for me it has certainly tried. While I can still do about 50% of the workouts, I miss the other 50%. (I miss Puke Hill...) So in order to continue with losing more body fat, I must concentrate on the FOOD! I hope to lose another 2-3% body fat over the next 10 weeks!
