  1. I still crave the sweets every once in a while Opening a bag of chocolates to handout on Halloween night really made me weak at the knees. But, I am still on the no sugar gang. I also wanted to comment on trying new recipes. Deanne gives us some amazing recipes and sometimes I look at them and complain that I don't like cucumbers or this will be too spicey and then I don't even give it a try. I have found that 90% of the time if I will just try the recipe I end up loving it. So I made 4 new recipes this week and loved all of them. Thanks Deanne for all the hard work you do to help us. We appreciate you.

  2. I DID IT! I wasn't sure if I was up for this challenge but I needed to do it for myself. It really helped to know so many of us were doing it. Things I loved--I didn't have any sugar hangovers, I had more energy, I felt stronger in my workouts and my mind was clearer. It did get easier but I still would like a really good piece of chocolate. It made me realize how often I just grab a little treat and think "oh no big deal" but then I have several more little "treats" and then I don't feel so well. Thanks Deanne for the challenge and for making me do this :). It feels great to know I can do it and that I need to keep my sugar in take in check. :) I also liked finally trying some of the new recipes that I hadn't gotten to try. My family loved the tilapia with bruschetta.

  3. I'm so happy that I did this. I stopped thinking about what I couldn't eat and was really concentrating on what I could eat. I noticed so much about my cravings and what they actually meant. I'm really glad I did this challenge and I think I'll keep it going!

  5. I'm so thankful to have had this challenge! I think I have now reached "sugar snob" status...not just any treat will be making it's way into my mouth :-) Cutting out sugar is just another step in me staying forever fit. Thanks!

Ok, love reading everyone's input on the blog...agree with it all...I found the No Sugar extremely hard and 2 weeks seemed like eternity at first, but the positive reinforcement was the key...like all my clothes fit and feel so much better AND the people are noticing my body changing AND I feel so good and full of energy AND I am not craving sweets any more! My goal is to keep this going long after the challenge. I love what Forever Fit is doing for me! Thank you Deanne!!!

  7. Alright, I must confess. I took myself "off the squad" at 8:30 pm just hours before the dead line. It was on purpose, really folks. I decided to have my splurge on Sunday night and then am back "on the squad" til Thanksgiving. Anyone care to join?? It's unofficial. As in...no prizes. zero recognition. just self satisfaction and the ability to wear skinny jeans to thanksgiving with room to spare:) uh huh!!
