5x5 Challenge Week 3

Here we go week 3!  Let us know what you will be working on.  I have been successful for 2 weeks now, no wine or alcohol Monday through Friday and I feel great!  Last week I worked on my unplanned nibbling and I did pretty good, except for a couple of days when I didn't have a plan. If I have a plan for the day with healthy food in the house and prepped, it is no problem. Without a plan, I end up getting too hungry and then I eat whatever is convenient. So this week I am focusing on doing prep the night before to ensure a successful next day. And I will continue no wine, intermittent fasting and now adding more planning and prep each day for the following day.  What about you?

  3. My strategy this week is to focus on my goal of losing 5 pounds. Two weeks is a long time for me to stay on a restricted diet so I found myself straying quite a bit the last few days. I will continue with IF, no sweet treats, only healthy carbs, and add in no wine Monday through Thursday. I will also do some extra workouts to help with burning calories.

  4. I keep struggling on those days I'm not at home. This week we had half days + family lunch week + another busy social weekend. All my good days get wiped out by the bad. I've questioned my commitment this week and considered quitting. I don't actually snack v much nor eat much sweet stuff. I just eat too much! One last attempt focusing on 3 meals a day only + 1 juice.

  5. I'm adding in green juice in place of two meals each day this week, and will continue to go 'no sweets/processed food'. Lastly...always trying to get more sleep! (as I write this at 1215a...hmmm.)

  7. Im still going strong with removing wine from my day M-Th. Always do IF anyway. Did not do well with adding 30 extra minutes of cardio last week. Continuing with my protein and veggies everyday. No carbs.

  10. I didn't do so well this week. Lots of stress with wedding planning, track team parent liaision responsibilities, etc. Also had a wedding menu tasting and daughter in town who we took out to eat, so I ate too much this week. I need to really focus. I am going to try juicing for one meal a day.

  12. I am going to focus on adding more veggies and green juices this week. And more meals at home again. Did not do so well with that one last week but still lost a pound, I think because I was making better choices : )

  13. I will continue with 4:2:1. I'm doing so extra calorie burning and looking up low calorie cocktails to stay on track.
